Creative Kids is a mobile program that partners with local parks and rec departments, childcare centers and play places to offer unique fun and engaging weekday classes and weekend events for kids in Fairfield County!

STEM & Sensory Play: Little Lab Adventures
Danbury, ages 3-6
Wilton, ages 2-5
Calling all little scientists! Grab your goggles and join us in the lab as we dive into a new experiment each week full of discovery and excitement. The adventure continues after that with art and sensory play activities inspired by the experiment. It’s hands-on and full of fun - the perfect way for curious minds to explore and play! An adult must accompany their child for this class. Please dress for mess.

Fun with Food: Storytime Snacks! No oven needed for this flavor-filled morning! Each week, little chefs will listen to a favorite children’s story, make a tasty treat inspired by the book, and explore food-themed art and sensory stations that bring the tale to life. No nuts or artificial dyes used. An adult must accompany their child for this class. Please dress for mess!

Each week little chefs will create a simple, themed snack inspired by a different fairy tale — plus sensory and art activities that bring the magic to life. Fun with Food: Colorful Kitchen! No oven needed to create these tasty treats! Join us in the Colorful Kitchen where little chefs measure and mix their way through the rainbow. Each week we’ll make snacks inspired by a different color, ending the session with a delicious, colorful creation. No nuts or artificial dyes used. When the snacks are done, the fun keeps going with food-themed art and sensory stations to wrap up a flavorful morning!

No oven needed for these tasty treats - just grab your passport and get ready to explore! Each week we’ll “visit” a different country, create a tasty snack inspired by our destination, and follow up with food-related sensory and art activities that bring our travels to life. Nursery Rhymes and Sensory Times: Come join us for a 5-week class designed for 1–3 year olds that highlights fun themes from well-known nursery rhymes! From Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to Old McDonald, each week invites toddlers to explore a different nursery rhyme through safe and age-appropriate sensory play and art activities!

Let’s Bee Creative - A Mommy & Me Class!
I am SO excited to team up with both Mommies Board Silly and Rainbow Lane! Moms will make a cute “Be Kind” honeycomb wall hanging with Erin from Mommies Board Silly, while kids join me in the party room for an adorable bee-themed art project plus sensory activities! After, kids can do open play while moms finish their crafts!

ABOUT ME
Hi! I’m Jess, a certified former teacher with over 20 years of experience in preschool and elementary school. I started this company in the summer of 2025 with the goal of taking my teaching experience and love of working with children and combining it with something every child needs – learning that is hands-on, creative, messy and fun! As a working mom, I also recognize the importance of having a space for kids to get messy that is not in the house (and no parent cleanup required)! I incorporate art and sensory play into everything I do, because learning truly is more powerful when it’s playful! I am so thankful to family and friends for all of their support on this exciting new adventure, and I hope you find something here for you and your family to enjoy!
