Creative Kids is a mobile program that partners with local parks and rec departments, childcare centers and play places to offer unique fun and engaging weekday classes and weekend events for kids in Fairfield County!

STEM & Sensory Play: Little Lab Adventures

Calling all little scientists! Grab your goggles and join us in the lab as we dive into a new experiment each week full of discovery and excitement. The adventure continues after that with art and sensory play activities inspired by the experiment. It’s hands-on and full of fun - the perfect way for curious minds to explore and play! An adult must accompany their child for this class. Please dress for mess.

Fun with Food: Storytime Snacks! No oven needed for this flavor-filled morning! Each week, little chefs will listen to a favorite children’s story, make a tasty treat inspired by the book, and explore food-themed art and sensory stations that bring the tale to life. No nuts or artificial dyes used. An adult must accompany their child for this class. Please dress for mess!

Each week we’ll make snacks inspired by a different color, ending the session with a delicious, colorful creation. No nuts or artificial dyes used. When the snacks are done, the fun keeps going with food-themed art and sensory stations to wrap up a flavorful morning!

Signs of Spring: Shake off those winter blues, and get ready for some springtime hues! Come join us for a new 5-week class designed for 1–3 year olds that celebrates all the little clues that warmer days are coming. From flowers and sunshine to rain and tiny bugs, each week invites toddlers to explore a new spring theme through safe and age-appropriate sensory play and art activities!

Nursery Rhymes and Sensory Times: Come join us for a 5-week class designed for 1–3 year olds that highlights fun themes from well-known nursery rhymes. From Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to Old McDonald, each week invites toddlers to explore a different nursery rhyme through safe and age-appropriate sensory play and art activities!

Explore an hour of sweet sensory play and creative art inspired by everyone’s favorite treat- ice cream! After all the imaginative play, we will finish with a make-your-own ice cream sundae to enjoy. Open play is an optional add-on at checkout.

Come join us for a kid-sized twist on paint and sip fun! For the first hour, explore spring art and sensory stations, learn how to paint a beautiful spring canvas to take home, and sip a juice box. Then stay for an hour of open play!

ABOUT ME
Hi! I’m Jessica, a certified former teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience in preschool and elementary school. I started this company in the summer of 2025 with the goal of taking my experience and love of working with children and combining it with something every child needs – some hands-on, creative, messy fun! Also keeping in mind what every parent needs- a place for their children to make a mess that is not in their house, and they don’t have to clean up! I incorporate art and sensory play into everything I do, because learning truly is more powerful when it’s playful! I am so thankful to family and friends for all of their support on this exciting new adventure, and I hope you find something here for you and your family to enjoy!
